The Parakeet, the Waxwing and the green Toucan
Painted with a red masked parakeet (Aratinga erythrogenys), a bohemian waxwing (Bombycilla garrulus) and a green toucan inside. A tiny butterfly painted under the lid. The birds are as described in French on the back: La Perruche à joues rouges, le jaseur de la Caroline et le Toucan vert. The box is painted with a Vincennes turquoise celeste blue and gold oeil de perdrix background. It measures 4.50” X 1.50”. no318.
